Around 64000 (or was it 6000......can't remember the digits) pple are doin the HSC. If like 10000 ppl beat me in uai will i still b able to make it into the 90s?

60 something thousand would be including the year 10's.

How people actually doing the HSC exam im not sure but its most likely below 60 000 and above 50 000

Low 60,000s do the HSC... and I think ~40000 ask for a UAI.

In the past, the top 16% of HSC students have received a UAI of 90+.

16% of 65,311 ~ 10,449.

(The corresponding Year 10 candidature size in 2001 was 82,350.)

No. 16% of HSC students (specifically, UAI eligible students) receive a UAI of 90+. 10% of the Yr 10 candidature receive 90+.

The first figure would actually be closer to around 54,000.
