just a small question guys


can anyone tell me a what a raw mark of 85+ in general maths would scale to

The BOS never tell us anything about raw marks & what they scale to... So it's pretty much impossible to know.

There's more than 1 type of 'scaling' that takes place too... The raw mark is aligned by the BOS and it's also scaled by the UAC.

Most people seem to believe that raw marks tend to get pulled up by aligning for the BOS (the marks you will see on your record of achievement) and pulled down by the UAC for scaling. It's hard to say in the end though, because we simply don't see the figures...

i wish i hadnt done general maths...does it mean that, even if i do really well in the subject, my UAI will suffer?

No, if you do really well, you will be fine. A mark in the 90's will only scale to the 80's, in 2002 anyway, and unless you're aiming for a UAI of 100 it shouldn't matter.
