I'm planning to drop Ext 2 English so that I will have 9 Units (Anc Hist, Legal Studies, Ext 1 Eng, Maths Adv) plus the 2 units of IPT I've already done. What happens with the Ext 1 English? I'm confused as to how my UAI would be calculated if I had 11 Units to pick from - does it just take the most advantageous to me, like I've been told, or what?

like Rebekkie said, they chop the 2 unit marks into 2 lots of marks out of 50, and add up the best 10 of these.

They count your best 10 units. That means that they'll separate 2 unit subjects in 1 unit (100 marks to 50).
