Mark you receive after aligning has taken place.
Hello, i did an accelerated IPT course this year and got a mark of 88 ( in the text)
I didn't get an atar as i have only done one hsc course and am going to do all my other units next year
So im really confused what the 88 means. Is it the scaled mark or the aligned mark or ....?
What does it mean?
And what would 88 equate to, only one subject considered in atar terms. A range is fine (eg.90s, 80s. 95s), generally speaking as i know that each year is different and it's impossible to tell
Thankyou so much
(i'm really panicked as i need to know whether to drop physics or not

If you get a scaled mark of 88 in physics is that the same as a scaled mark of 88 in ipt Capture.PNG does that mean if i get 88 in all subjects x 5 = 440, the estimated atar would be around 97ish in reference to the table i attached and I CAN DROP PHYSICS
A mark of 88 for physics would be better for your ATAR then an 88 mark in IPT.

No sorry fam that's just the hsc mark, not the mark that goes into the aggregate. An 88 in IPT would probably scale down- check ATAR calculators and stuff. 97 ATAR definitely not assured.
(I'd keep physics if I were you)
