    99 atar?

Hey guys I know I've posted something similar before, but I still don't really know if I've put in enough effort so far to get results that would get me to a 99 ATAR. Basically I don't really know if I'm in a good position, or if its possible to get a 99 with these results so far. I'm in a school ranked 329, last year was 215.

    Eng Adv: 94% Rank 6/33, 0 B6 2017, 8 B6 2016.

    Eng Ext 1: 48/50 Rank 1/6, 0 B6 2017 and 2016

    Eng Ext 2: 46/50 Rank 1/2, 0 B6 2017 and 2016

    Modern History: 90% Rank 1/23, 0 B6 2017 and 2016

    Geography: 100% Rank 1/9, 1 B6 2017, 0 B6 2016

    Visual Arts: 100% Rank 1/19, 1 B6 2017, 7 B6 2016

    French Continuers: 88% Rank 2/4, 0 B6 2017, 1 B6 2016

    Any help appreciated

    Re: 99 atar?

Your subjects can get you a 99 ATAR, however several factors might affect that. If you wish to achieve a 99+, you'll need to maintain your ranks in Mod History, Geo, V.Arts, ENG ext 1&2. You also need to try to boost your rank in Eng adv to the top 3 or 2, that way your school rank will have minimal effect on your ATAR, as you will be an outlier.

In terms of marks, I'd say you need to try get a 91-92+ in all your subjects (which you have achieved so far), and 94+ in at least three subjects (preferably the English subs and modern/ geo), this will approximately get you an ATAR between 98.7-99+

So to answer your main question, '' if its possible to get a 99 with these results so far''

Based on the information you provided (RANKS AND MARKS), I'd say you're currently heading towards an ATAR between 95.5- 96.
BUT you are very close in terms of ranks to be an outlier, which means if you put in a bit more effort, you can probably end up getting it that 99 or at least something very close to it.
