I need to do atleast 2 computer science units for my BCM, so far I have done Java Programming and will do C Programming next semester.The units I can choose are: CITS2211 Discrete Structures (Preferred as I can do this next semester) CITS2232 Databases CITS2200 Data Structures & Algorithms CITS3201 Human-Computer Interaction CITS3230 Computer Networks (Requires CITS2200) CITS3242 Programming Paradigms (Requires CITS2200) CITS4211 Artificial Intelligence (Requires CITS2200) CITS4240 Computer Vision (Requires 'high-end' programming skills) CITS3210 Algorithms (Requires CITS2200) CITS2230 Operating Systems (Requires CITS2200) Unit outlines are viewable at: School of Computer Science and Software Engineering - Semester 1 School of Computer Science and Software Engineering - Semester 2 I'm looking at working in mathematical finance so C++, Matlab/Mathematica etc. would be likable. I think some of my 3rd year units in maths use R, Matlab and some optimization program which I can't recall. Any suggestions?
