Is it possible to undertake a double major in the arts component of an arts/law double degree at Monash? I understand that it is overload and overkill, but I would still like to know whether it is possible. Thanks.

Yes, it is possible to double major in arts if you're studying Arts/Law at Monash. With the Monash Arts/Law degree you are given 16 electives. To major in a double degree in Arts you need to take 8 prescribed units. So, you can double major but it just means that you don't get any 'free' electives. Make sure you check what units are credited towards your Major before you pick them =)
