Ahh, I can't wait for Superbad and Knocked Up! Judd Appatow! Seth Rogen! Michael Cera! Sexytimes!

I saw some promotional thing for a movie called "Teeth". It's about a chick who has, erm, teeth in her vajayjay. And it bites off dicks and stuff.

AWESOME! (?)

both those trailers get me so pumped for the films. especially there will be blood (although i get a days of heaven vibe more than anything).

i'm hoping the sydney film fest (which is awesome so far, btw) will make one of them their surprise offering that they usually put on at the end... it's usually a cannes favorite, like the wind that shakes the barley last year, so that bodes well for no country...

yeah, i saw it. it's a pretty decent if utterly conventional matinee style war/adventure flick with a few nice hezog-ian touches. one of his weaker efforts but worth a look when it arrives threatrically here.

btw, control is totally mediocre. remember when john stewart called walk the line 'ray with white people'? this is ray with post-punk hipsters. at least sam riley got ian curtis down pat. still not very good.

what i've seen so far....

great: syndromes and a century, i don't want to sleep alone, killer of sheep
really good: woman on the beach, 12:08 east of bucharest, once
good: ad lib night, out of the blue, away from her, poison friends, the scott walker doco, rescue dawn, brand upon the brain!
not good: control, flanders

damn good fest so far.

I might see Inland Empire with a couple of friends tomorrow, one of them's huge Lynch fan. You guys already seen it?

Looks good to me.

Wes Anderson takes way too long to finish his movies. If only everyone could work like Woody Allen
