saw this movie today, i thought it was really good.
People who read the book didnt like it as much
Parra cinema was packed and stuffy
Most entertaining part of the movie was throwing popcorn seeds at people towards the front. Especially to those who put their bare feet over seats and have their hairy legs spread apart (y)

Saw the midnight release. Not a fan of the series at all, though friends were going, so I went along. It tried to be too arty IMO, especially considering its target demographic. Better than the first one. Better than the books, because instead of 20 different descriptions of 'his marble stonelike skin', they could just show an image.

it was alright - i have no expectations though. the vampires are noob ... needs more true blood esque vampires

That's why you don't go to the one in Parramatta.. The one in George street is so much better and rarely packed.. The Movie wasn't very exciting at all...
