Anyone planning on performing/have performed with an uncommon instrument? (things like the accordion, recorder, hurdy gurdy)
Wondering how the markers would react
Playing a piobaireachd on bagpipes this year, along with a clarinet piece and a composition.

Someone played a vibraphone and got nominated for encore in my year.

Don't know if this counts, but I arranged one of my pieces for saxophone with double bass and accordion accompaniment.

I've got three performances on the pipe organ, with aims set high to be nominated for Encore..

Next year though, my friend is planning on doing performances on multiple instruments - vibraphone, theramin and possibly alto clarinet.

I chose to play a raga on the sitar for my core performance this year which was weird for the markers I suppose. Ended up getting an encore nomination for it so I'm pretty happy.
