I chose My Father began as a God for 1 of the related texts concerning Changing self. I was just wondering what the context would be on this story. Im not sure if the context would be about the setting surrounding the time the poem was made or something other than that.

I'd say the context is that of the last scene, because that's when the realisation comes about.

I really don't think context is a big issue for this poem, its more about the conceptual ideas about life that are more important.
