Just one question: how is it easier getting around when you live in the country. Wouldn't it be harder coz there is less transport and your parents have to drive you everywhere?

I live in a town of about 2500 people. Takes about half an hour to walk from one side to the other. Most parties are held in town, so we can just walk. It's easier to get out because pretty much everyone knows everyone else, (false maybe) sense of security. And nobody is around at 3am so it's fairly safe to walk home.

But yeah, if we want to go out of town and drink, bummer for us lol.

EDIT: And all my friends and I have our p's so we don't have to get our parents to drive us anywhere.

There is a simple solution to this problem. Get a bunch of football players, rugby league preferrably, cause their big and tough, and tell your parents their your body guard.

It wouldnt be dangerous then at all.

My solution... sit down and talk to your parents about it.

Ask them what their concerns are and how you can both deal with them. If they're concerned you'll go drinking, introduce them to the people you'll be hanging with so they can abate those fears (hopefully).

If they're afraid of you getting hurt or mugged or something, agree to stay in a group at all times.

If you bring it up with them in an adult way, they'll respect you as more grown up and responsible enough to go out. If you just whinge and say "but whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" They'll think that you're not grown up enough to be out on your own.
