They can't be that bad; you are 16 after all and you have to be allowed some freedom. Let them know who you'll be with. Don't tell them you hang around the kids who smoke dope and fuck each other like in Cruel Intentions because there is no way in hell they will let you go out then. You have to let them know that the kids you hang around are half-way resceptable. Let them know where you'll be. All it takes is a quick phone call. And if you don't have a mobile you've probably been living under a rock for the past ten years. Or your parents haven't let get one. And go home when you're meant to. It'll just piss them off if you come home late and you'll be screwed until you turn 18.If all else fails just wait until you are 18 and they can't really stop you then. If they do, I'd move out.

16 Nov 2009, 1:03 AM | Re: I Can't Go Anywhere! try having your mother start treating your more like a child the closer you got to turning eighteen. and then when the HSC starts, have her threaten to not let you see your boyfriend and say you need to stay home more and study when you studied for 45 hours that week. yeah. that's what things are like in my household. i want to move out. i'm getting sick to death of it. but no, she has constantly repeated i'm not allowed to move out, even though i haven't mentioned to her that i want to, and so do my boyfriend and his mum who is quite serious about me living with them. with all honesty, if i did i would be much, much happier.
