Hi there,

I'm an academic researcher, specialising in China, working at the Asia Research Institute at the National University of Singapore.

I'm running an academic project which analyses and compares non-school educational services (tutoring, cram schools, external lectures, and so on) across various countries (Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan).

As part of this project, I'm organising a survey of post-secondary students in Australia who have been involved in non-school tutoring (one-on-one tutoring, tutoring schools, lectures, etc.). I'm particularly focusing on the Chinese-background community, but anyone can fill out the survey, as all the information I can get is useful.

So, if you are a post-Year 12 student who has used any sort of non-school education service, please consider filling out the survey at the link below. As an incentive, I'm offering a small prize (iTunes voucher) to a randomly selected person who completes the survey.

If you run a tutoring service yourself, or if you have any questions about the survey, please feel free to send me an email at arijdb@nus.edu.sg. I'm hoping to run some interviews (whether in person or online) with tutors and students who have been tutored over the next couple of months, so let me know if you're interested.

Thanks for your time!
