Talking Video Mentor, Tutor, Workshops, Crew And Equipment Hire

VIDEO MENTOR / TUTOR, WORKSHOPS, FILM CREW AND EQUIPMENT HIRE.

I'm an experienced mentor / tutor who specialises in helping students with any VIDEO projects they are undertaking as part of their studies. This includes Extension 2 English, Drama and Art. My services cover a broad area of topics and range from traditional tutoring to more hands-on practical workshops:

- Assessments
- Logbook
- Bringing together a coherent story and translating it to video
- Proper scripting
- Storyboarding
- Creating meaning through filmic techniques
- Shot Composition
- On-set procedures
- Camera Operation
- Sound
- Lighting
- Editing

ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE CATERED FOR.

I am also able to provide experienced and professional CREW and VIDEO EQUIPMENT should you wish to give your film the professional touch. The Board of Studies stipulates that the student must write and direct the film and we fully comply with this. We always make sure the student is in control of the entire project. This is a great opportunity for a student (no matter what experience level) to be in charge of a small professional crew and equipment. We take care of all the technical aspects (sound, lighting, camera operation etc) leaving you to more easily direct actors, plan shots and create your film.

All aspects of my services are fully tailored to the individual student. Should you wish to focus on some things and not others that’s fine. Please contact me to work out a customized lesson plan.

About me:

I'm a completed B.A (Film, English, Performance) student from Sydney University. I’ve worked on many professional film shoots, television, short films, music videos and commercials and have a wide knowledge in video production. Last year alone I tutored around 13 HSC VIDEO students with all different levels of experience. I have had short films make the finals in various competitions. I made a short video for Extension 2 English and received 49/50 for it. In year 11 I also made short films for Extension 1 English and Drama which also received good marks.

Re: Video Mentor, Tutor, Workshops, Crew And Equipment Hire

hey, I'm doing a video for extention 2 english this year. I've got all thw equipment and script sorted, but do you have some pointers on filming with a single camera? Is there some special secret, or is it just filming the same thing a few times in different angles?

any help/advice is useful.
