Friendly Introduction:

Hey there!

I am Ronald Pai - a 2008 graduate from Homebush Boys High School with a 98.40 UAI. 2010 will be second year tutoring - meaning I will have at least gained a year of valuable experience (thus making me better and more professional than those who had just graduated). I will be offering tutoring for Mathematics Extension 2 to new 2010 Year 12 students. This offer stands for those who have genuine interest for a tutor who is able to assist them in the studies.

However I will not be offering tuition in Year 11-12 Mathematics and Extension 1 to new students as I believe it's vital for me to concentrate on as few streams as possible. This will benefit the students as I can prepare more material for everyone.

Courses:

• Year 12 NSW HSC Mathematics Extension 2 (also known as 4U Maths)

My Tutoring Service:

• Small Group: Group of three for 2.0 hours
  
• I will be:
  • providing typed up notes (scroll to bottom of this post for a free sample)
  • explaining the theory behind certain topics
  • going through examples and common questions from exams
  • assigning homework
  • providing feedback regarding the homework from the previous week
  • attending to individual problems (class-based, school-based or elsewhere)

Availability:

• 3 students per lesson for Mathematics Extension 2
• Saturday 10 AM - 12 PM or Saturday 1 PM - 3 PM
  
  * Note: You do not need to bring two other people to enrol. You can enrol by yourself and I'll organise the classes.

Rates:

• Group of three: $20.00 per hour for 2.0 hours per lesson per person

About Me

• Attended Homebush Boys High School and graduated in 2008
• Achieved a UAI of 98.40
• Confident and proficient with 2U/3U/4U material
• Have an appreciation and passion for the beauty and elegance of Maths
• Scored 96 for 3U and 95 for 4U
• Have many resources (textbooks + trial/HSC past papers)
• Have been helping people over MSN and contributing on Bored Of Studies forums by providing solutions with working out
• Have tutored a class of 29 for Year 9 Maths at a tuition centre
• Have tutored at least 10 individually in Year 11-12 2U-4U Maths
• Currently 1st Year studying Aeronautical Space Engineering @ The University of Sydney (highest level of Engineering)
