Hi, my name is Namu Lyoo and I am the 2009 graduate of the St Pius X College.

I would like to provide maths tutoring service to:
• Year 7-10 students
• Preliminary students (General Mathematics, Mathematics, Mathematics Extension 1)
• HSC students (General Mathematics, Mathematics, Mathematics Extension 1)

For my tutoring service, I would:
• Try my best to meet your academic need by adapting different teaching styles for different individuals.
• Provide all the necessary resources (I have countless past papers, notes and etc.)
• Provide extra help through other media such as Facebook, E-mail and others.
• Focus on the Syllabus and fulfil all its requirements while exploring other useful aspects of the subject.
• Offer any important tips and information in regards to studying habit, subject selection, time management, stress management and etc.
• Be a patient, understanding, flexible, enthusiastic, supportive and innovative tutor.

My brief credential:
• As a school peer tutor, I have over 2 years of tutoring experience.
• Band 6 and E4 in HSC Mathematics and Mathematics Extension 1 last year as an accelerant.

I believe that I am a competent tutor who can bring many benefits to anyone. However, I am a firm beliver in cooperation between tutor and tutee. Therefore, you won't be receiving constant spoon-feeding as it will deteriorate your studies in the long-term.

Other details:
• I am located in Hornsby but I am willing to travel if necessary.
• Cost is negotiable and it will certainly vary depending on the subject.
• The places are limited as I wish to maximise my service and concentrate my work effort.

I have no hesitations in recommending Namu as a tutor. If you're fortunate enough to live in the region, I would encourage you to give Namu a go - his maths skills are phenomenal!

What's up with all the 09ers offering tutoring so soon? I would wait until the HSC results came out and then offer tutoring. Nevertheless I'm pretty sure Namu would make a great tutor. How come you're not offering Mathematics Extension 2?

I will offer Mathematics Extension 2 after the HSC result comes out. The very reason why I don't mention Mathematics Extension 2 as one of my tutoring service is because I cannot vouch for my mathematical aptitude in that very subject (as you already mentioned).
