Smile 99.70 | hd wam unsw chemistry major, physics minor uni student new syllabus tutoring

Hi my name is Jasnoor and I am a 2nd year UNSW student currently undertaking a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours), with a Major in Chemistry and Minor in Physics. I completed my HSC in 2016 at Parramatta Marist High School.

A few of my notable academic achievements (with links for proof):
    - 99.70 ATAR (http://tinyurl.com/Jasnooratar)
    - DUX of 2016 Parramatta Marist (http://www.parramarist.nsw.edu.au/ne...adref=5&id=342)
    - Band 6 or E4 in all my subjects (HSC marks below)
    - The AAA Scholarship Recipient (https://tinyurl.com/ycmxccc90
    - The Late Stephen Robjohns Science Scholarship (https://tinyurl.com/RobjohnsScholarship)
    - Member of the prestigious Advanced Science TSP (Talented Students Program) at UNSW (https://tinyurl.com/TSPproof)

    HSC marks:
    English Advanced: 97/100
    Physics: 94/100
    Chemistry: 93/100
    Maths 2 unit: 98/100
    Maths 3 unit: 48/50
    Business Studies: 94/100

    University WAM: HD average

I am currently offering tutoring for the Chemistry and Physics (and potentially Maths) new syllabus, particularly for:
    - Current (2018) Year 11 students wanting to prepare for their yearlies and get a head start for 2019 Year 12
    - Current (2018) Year 10 students wanting to get a head start for 2019 Year 11

    Why choose me?
It is evident from my marks and multiple scholarships that I performed execeptionally well in the HSC, but this is something many other tutors have also achieved. I will be able to provide you this advice and knowledge on study techniques that worked for me throughout HSC.

I am an extremely passionate individual in terms of these subjects, I literally eat, sleep and breath Chemistry and Physics, to the point that some of my friends question how I can be so overly motivated to study so much (as you can see on this thread (Advice From A 99.70 ATAR Student (chem, phys, business, English, 2U, 3U)))

Also, I have a key advantage over most tutors which will filter down into better results and a more experienced tutor for my students.

This is because I am currently undertaking a university degree in these subjects and therefore have a more well developed understanding and knowledge of the content taught in these subjects.

This is particularly important in my opinion for the new Chemistry and Physics syllabuses which are now heavily based upon first year university content, and as such they are drastically different from the past syllabuses, and therefore tutors who do not have a solid foundation developed through currently undertaking degrees or having completed degrees in these subjects are in my opinion not fully equipped to transfer the knowledge of these new concepts to students.

This unique advantage I possess, will enable me to provide my students with the best possible resources, that will developed by me.

These will include theory booklets for each lesson (which are based upon the syllabus dot points, ensuring we apply a methodical approach to learning and you are ready for all examination possibilities) and question booklets that will mirror the expected difficulty of the new syllabus to consolidate your knowledge.

Additionally, I am always willing to help my students throughout the week whenever they have any questions, which they can just send me a message with and I'll help them out.

With the limited availability of specific material for these new syllabuses, these resources are invaluable for students trying to achieve their best possible marks, and I also charge a reasonable rate.

Samples of booklets I used for old syllabus (will be producing new syllabus ones soon):
    Attachment 34321

    Prices:
    1 on 1: $40 per hour
Group of 2-3: $30 per hour
Group of 4: $25 per hour

    Availability and Location:
I prefer to have the tutoring conducted at my home in Glenwood (it is located within 5-10 minutes walk of many bus stops accessible from for example the T-way from Blacktown Station or Rouse Hill). The reason for this is that I have a large whiteboard set up in my home, and I feel that this provides a more comfortable learning environment from the library which can often be filled with distractions and noise. Additionally, it allows me to be more flexible with my tutoring hours as libraries often open later and close earlier on weekends which are the most popular days for tutoring.

However, if a student is really committed to their learning and I am able to facilitate the time allocation within the library opening hours, I am more than happy to travel to Blacktown, Stanhope library.

Also, if it is possible I may be able to tutor at libraries near UNSW (will have to check with me to see when my uni timetable can line up to allow for this)

    I am currently available:
    - Friday: 4pm onwards at my home
    - Saturday: 4pm onwards at my house (earlier times will open up soon as my current Year 12 students finish off their HSC)
    - Sunday: 9am - 11:30am and 4:30pm onwards at my home (12-4pm will open up after Year 12 students finish their HSC)

If these above times are the most convenient for you it is just temporary for these times and then as my other students finish up I will have significantly more availabilities for example on Wednesday's and Saturday, Sunday mornings and early afternoons.

    Length:
Classes will generally be 2 hours, but if we need to go over that time for whatever reason such as you have exams coming up and want more revision I can most of the time facilitate this.
