Just curiously, for those of you who get tutored in maths, what do you actually do.
Go ahead of the class, revise, extra questions, etc.
Im not really sure whats the best way for maths, so your opinions would help.

Getting ahead.

My tutor goes through basics, gives me questions - tests my abstract ability and if I don't get it, he shows me the method.

I never go to him for questions though, as I can do most of it after he's shown me a method.

Lets calculate the velocity of your fall and any resultant forces? or would you prefer to sketch the function of the velocity of your fall in respect to x?

My brother tutors me here and there by teaching me how to use formulas, the best method to doing questions, and he also gives me some questions to do.

Extra and more challenging questions is probably the best revision for maths.
