I want to do something personal to me and based on my own personal experiences and it is linked to
the effect of migration and acculturation on the social and cultural identity of Migrant Australians and its impact on australia

I want to focus on three aspects including language and linguistic diversity and the effect in the formation of identity, maybe religion and how it has changed and trends in atheism or ireligiousness.

I'm a bit worried however that the topic is overdone, or common. A lot of people have done acculturation and migration but linked it to something specific like gender values in chinese-australian women or educational values etc. and they have done quite well.
I need to put a unique twist on it.
