You can hide this advertisement by registering. i've got an extra couple of reasonsyes, the teachers are generally better, and there are fewer people who don't want to be there, and better facilities there are also higher expectations. i mean, at my school, it's kind of assumed that most people are going to uni. so everyone's aiming high parents help. either we have highly educated parents who have the time to help us, or parents willing to pay for tutors if needed, or both and finally, the elite schools are mainly selective. most of them have entrance exams. and if u take the best and brightest in year 7, it's not too surprising if they churn out the best and brightest at the end, regardless of whatelse they do. also, some schools will put a certain amount of pressure to change schools after year 10 on the bottom students
