Success One HSC Biology 2008 by Aaron Butler Publishing and Science Teachers' Association of NSW

Condition: Practically new. Never written in, no folds, no stains, not even a pencil mark. I laminated it when it was bought, so it's extremly well protected.

- Questions targetting specific dot points
- The condensed syllabus course makes HSC Biology easier to approach. Each dot point is converted into precise summaries that are easy to understand
- Good guide to course content (and that's what's needed in biology: Bio is basically just memorising and putting it on paper)

Cambridge HSC Study Guide: Biology (first published 2004) by Iain Imlay-Gillespie and Eun-soo Hwang

Condition: Practically new, never written in/damaged in any ways

Content and uses:
- Pretty much like the Macquarie Biology book. The style is a bit different, but its purposes/uses are the same
- I used both Macquarie and Cambridge to make my own notes. Both books have their own advantages; sometimes there will be extra information that enrich your knowledge in one book but not the other

Condition: Almost brand new, no damages, only 3 pages written in (pencil). Rubbed out, with markings visible under scrutiny.

Content and uses:
- Theory notes on all maths topics covered in Mathematics and Mathematics Extension 1
- Review exercises on all topics in 2u/3u
- Solutions to exercises
- Great for students trying to study ahead (hence the name accelerated). The theory is very easy to understand, and they use examples to explain the questions. It is possible to learn from this book with just basic background knowledge from previous junior years/year 11 mathematical knowledge
- Good reference when you are unsure of a topic that your teacher just taught
