Allons-y is a great text book for students in Yr 9/10 to learn the French Language

The course book is fully coloured, making learning French an enjoyable experience.
The 7 main chapters of the Course book each cover a different theme (clothing, shoes , accessories, where you live, overseas travel, food and cooking, parties ) and introduces new and advanced language patterns (verbs, etc)
The final chapter (chapter 8) focuses on regions of france and provides information about French culture - life in Canada, New Caledonia, Algeria and about a French Wedding
At the back of the Course book there is a French to English and English to French word lists, incorporating the vocabulary in the Course book

The Activity Book, as the title suggests is a companion of the Course book, and provides many activities that build and test a students knowledge of concepts taught in the Course book.

Yes they are also great for those who are starting out to learn the French Language as the books are directed for students who start to learn teh French language in Yr 8.

It starts off with the basics and builds up to much harder concepts!
