12 Jan 2004, 7:58 PM ![]() | Vai via cane' l'aragosta e' un crostaceo struzzi i cameli niente what do these mean?? I can't figure it out and coulnt b bothered looking them up! I went to uffizzi also, it was stupendous! I loved it... and Sophie i think i went to galleria dell'accademia, cause i certainly saw david.. wait maybe that was the statue of david in piazzo michaelangelo.. the one overlooking all of florence.. now im confused! I also love the passion of Italians.. i found myself in Italy becoming an extremly extroverted person, with Sooo much confidence, because thats how Italians generlly seem to be. It was great, and they treat Aussies tourists sooo well.. especially if you've got blonde hair and you go to florence!!!! we used to use italian as a secret language too, at parties or at school talking about other people.... and we too made up stuff that didn't exist by adding "i" or "o" or a vowel to an aussie word. Sooo useful when you wanna chat about someone and theyre right there!! |

18 Dec 2003, 7:00 AM ![]() | vai via cane' = go away dog struzzi i cameli = something about strutting camels but I'm not quite sure ![]() l'aragosta e' un crostaceo = the lobster is a crustacean I saw Davide, it was very stunning! But what really impressed me was the Botticelli room in the Ufizzi! It was heavenly!! Did anyone see Filippo Lippi's work? That is one of my absolute favourites! Botticelli was Lippi's apprentice. I just LOVE renaissance artwork. I could have stayed there all day! but there were too many tourists . |

12 Jan 2004, 7:58 PM ![]() | vai via cane'! Che comica! Thats great, ill remember to use it in my exam... NOOOTTT i think the examiner would be a lil worried... my Italiano class decided to do abusive letters in Italian once, like just as a joke, pretending that the "friend in Italy" in our prac in class writing task, was a real bitch, and that we'd had a HUGE argument on the phone just to see what my teacher would say.. Its still Italian we'd say.. and wouldn't the markers be impressed by the originality of the letter? wouldn't be another like it! We got told just to stick with the happy ones, with the dumb idiomatics etc and the corny lines like the ones i posted before.. markers can be sooo boring! |
