theism is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: anthropology or sociology?

sociology is about how and why society is the way it is.

anthropology is about how and why humans act the way we do.

It's all good if you are really into these subjects. But what sort of job opportunities would you want afterwards? I know someone who did 3 years of anthropology major. Came out, graduated, with absolutely nothing.

Re: anthropology or sociology?

I think both majors are kind of "do whatever" majors in the sense that you don't have any defined career path when you graduate. Although, I will say sociology is a lot of the time dealing with much more modern issues than anthro. so if thats what youre interested in as far as managing people and fixing current problems on a political level, then to sociology.
