hi everyone.

i was just wondering how are job prospects in biomedical engineering?
overseas sounds pretty good in terms of job growth
but i can't seem to find anything on australia...

i have heard from someone that only the best of the best will find a job.
and that people graduating with bachelor of biomed engineering end up doing medicine...

i think its probably my favourite engineering... well at this moment

im considering civil/environmental because i guess there is more opportunities, especially since of australias 'clean energy future' campaign but i just don't have the passion for it

i am very passionate about medicine and health related things
but i think i would like to work in the development of medical instruments and treatments/cures rather than as a doctor

so i am also considering science or med sci

anyways i would really appreciate any advice on the courses ive mentioned above.. but most especially biomedical engineering

thank you in advance :)

i look forward to hearing for yous. all are welcome!

Biomedical engineering , according to my knowledge is the most promising engneering field in coming years . H=Newspapers and journals have continuosly rated it on top of the list for Promising careers . The salary is also high , close to 76,000 dollars (average) . It is a research field . And you may have to do MS or Phd to increase your chances of job . I also refer you a link for your assistance , Biomedical engineering
