hey guys,
what are some pathways into engineering if i don't get straight into the bachelor degree? ( apart from different engineering diploma's )

You could a bachelor of science (which usually has a lower ATAR cutoff than engineering), attain a good GPA and do an internal transfer into your desired engineering degree.

I'm not sure what major would be best (hopefully another person can clarify this). However I can tell you that students doing standard degrees like Commerce, Arts & Science have to do first year core units. Some units in science overlap with engineering units which will enable you to attain credit if you choose this path.

At USYD my first semester had physics, but in semester two there were no science subjects and physics was my only science subject, it had quite a lot of maths involved though!

what would be a better pathway ; Dipset @ UNSW or Bachelor of science then transfer?
