ok....im doing this subject which formally has a 10% exam at the end of the semester just before the 50% final exam.

however, for the last 5 weeks the main lecturer has gone on holidays and the replacement guy has been giving us class tests in each lecture. now this new lecturer has said that these class tests are not worth anything but will be used to see if students have been paying attention in the lecture and used as a roll.

ok, im like cool...so i didn't rock up to 1 lecture and the other one I left before the "class test".

so today I get an email saying that the class exam worth 10% will now be 5% and each lecture test is worth 1%. im like wtf? there was absolutely zero formal notification of this and the student outline clearly shows a 10% exam not 5%.

im fucking furious, ive sent an email to the lecturer today and haven't heard a reply...and the main lecturer is on holidays.

what the fuck is this shit. Ive spoken to a few other students today and they told me they havent sent an email but are furious as well.

what can I do here? Ive never really been in a position like this.
