Doing units of study from other faculties? Possible? (1 Viewer)

I'm enrolled at Commerce at Sydney, keen on doing the full 8 units of study over two semesters, but really not finding 8 that I'm keen on.

There are 5 compulsory core Commerce units, and also one more which I'm happy to do.
After these six units, I have a spare spot each semester in which there aren't really two Com units I want to do (and if I do enroll in these, I feel I won't go really well because I hate them).

My question is, should I do two other Commerce units, can I choose units from other faculties entirely, or should I just study 6 subjects?

Cheers

I guess you could do them if they really interest you. Just be aware that you will be paying $1000s for them and they won't be relevant to your career at all.

read the course rules. im doing BCom/BSc and i have to do 96 cp each of com and science units (so 192 out of 240 for the double degree)
the remaining 48cp can be from whichever faculty.

Wtf? $1000s for them? Um, no. You pay the same price as everyone else. And they're not necessarily unrelated.

Check if your degree lets you. I know you can do science in an arts degree and vice versa.

Did I say you would be paying different? Most subjects at my uni are around $1000 each.

So just to be clear, there is no extra cost for substituting units from bus/eco for arts/sci/whatever?
