how did u make friends in uni. (1 Viewer)

yeah, i just wanted to know from ppl. who are at uni- how they made friends with other ppl. (besides joining clubs and societies)- did u just walked up to a person and started talking to them, or did u give out free candy to ppl. (and hence make a lot of friends)...or something else....share it with us!

I think you just get talking to people in ur tutes don't you? Its just like school all over again.....the person you sit next to in your first tutorial may end up becoming your best friend!

ahh...ic ic- btw, do ppl. in o-week walk up to u and try to make friends wif u and stuff (like after the into. lectures and stuff)?

umm I don't think ppl just walk straight up to you, but you might have a quick chat to someone thats doing your course or something in your orientation session.

what do u mean orientation sessions- all we're having is some lectures, thats all!

like for law we had a welcome session in a lecture theatre where me met the staff and got our readings for the first week etc

Why are so many people stressing out about making friends? It is not hard, you don't have to analyse a situation. You will meet people, just stop worrying or you will get nervous and uptight.

nobody wants friends
everyone just goes about their daily uni lives with a bf/gf
and aquaintances
but not realli close friends
its not like high school where u hang around a big group
in usyd its just mainly couples...bf/gfs
