    Worth doing combined degrees?

is it really worth doing dual degrees such as
    Commerce/engineering
    engineering/architecture

or would it be better of doing just one and just hope that you'll enjoy it . because atm i'm lurking around these courses

Of course it's worth it. If you like Commerce and Engineering both, why would you restrict yourself to doing one when you have the option to do both?

because i may feel it's a waste of time if you're going to be getting a job with just one of those degrees?

Exactly. Say you want a change of pace - say you like Commerce at uni but hate the jobs it gives you in the real world. With a double degree, you can immediately say "Oh okay, so I'll use this second degree to get me a job".
