Just asking out of curiosity as I always get the preconception that UNSW is really asian whilst USyd is really anglo. So what exactly do you think are the true ratios? Note: it's not a deciding factor to my choice of uni, please don't just assume this.

I'm thinking at USYD about 20-25% of students are Asian.

Caucasians probably make up about 60%.

The number of Asians (this groups to me includes Orientals, South Asians, and Arabs) at UNSW is overstated, I reckon. Previously, I thought that Asians would make up 80-90% at UNSW, but when I actually went to UNSW I saw that Asians make up only around 50-60% at UNSW, with the rest in descending order of numbers being Caucasian, South American, and then African.

Depends where you are at.

In my English classes the Asian/Caucasian ratio is probably 1:99.

In my Maths classes, almost an inverse except for a small contingent but it's still like 25:1.
