I posted this message in the high school forum and thought it might be relevant here as well.
My brother came across this site , Apps4NSW, while looking up places for work experience and it has 2 apps, StuLink and Sudent Action Team, relevant to school kids. The only catch is that these apps aren't readily available yet. They are undergoing public voting at the moment and will receive funding if they win. So I think it's a great idea and if you think they will benefit you in the future, vote for them because as a uni student, I think they could have benefited me back then.
The apps are basically to create profiles for yourself so that you can get work experience placements much more easily and connects you with mentors etc.
