Is it best to use pen and paper to take notes in lectures or will that slow me down compared to typing notes? I have a DET laptop that lasts about 3-4 hours as well as a samsung galaxy tablet. I'm thinking just write using pen and paper right?

I'd recommend that you bring something to take pictures with, as not all lecturers include the full lecture slides.

Then again, pretty much all lectures are recorded at Macquarie University so you can always go back to Echo360 and relisten.

I recommend bringing a copy of printed out lecture slides as they sometimes have examples that you need to fill out in lecture + spare paper to write on.
