Hey guys, if i was to apply for unsw coop, does it count as a separate application or are the coop preferences i choose apart of my 5 uac preferences?

Co-op is one of the preferences and for UNSW IIRC you have to put the original course too, e.g. you put Actuarial (Co-op) then Actuarial studies as 2 preferences.
