    UTS VS MACQ Commerce/Business

    Hi everyone,

I will probs get an ATAR which falls short of UNSW and USYD so I will have to decide between UTS and MACQ for a Commerce/Business degree. Which one do you guys think will be better for studying?

I have heard some mixed messages about UTS business and mainly good things about MACQ!

    Thanks

Which major? Which is closest to you?

I'd suggest also visiting both Universities campuses : )

Uni is what you make of it. I'm macquarie and getting interviews and ACs at big 4 accounting and I have friends at UTS doing the same. I'd go with whatever is closest to you and which campus/societies you like better.

One thing I've found which really helps at Macquarie is that majority of your lectures are recorded. The same can't be said for UTS. From what my friends at UTS tell me , very little of their classes have online recordings and they are only done in 1-2 rooms in which the technology to record is available.
