hi guyz...

i'm currently in year 12 now... and i was wondering if theres any way that I can prepare for the UMAT exam?

or is there no need for preperation?

I believe you can prepare...fro example timed practice on finding the shapes will only do u good. Their are preparation courses...call ACER and find out the details.

that's true...
ACER doesn't endorse any of the preparation courses...

however, practise can never do u any harm, right? :)

Well, you could do a general search under yahoo for 'UMAT preparation course'.

There are 3 courses as far as i'm aware (although there could be more), run by:

- Dallas' Superprep Clinic
- National Institute of Education
- AMEPP (Australian Med. Entrance Prep Program)

Research them carefully because they're quite expensive and offer different skills.

well.. there are 3 sections, all multiple choice.

For the logic section, you have to interpret data and some comprehension is involved. For the interaction section, they give you scenarios involving people and you have to choose which option you would do, and the non-verbal section involves finding a variety of odd shapes in puzzles...
