i'm loving the diverts to hotmail, i don't have to try (and fail) to get onto the portal as often

Word on the street is that outages are going to occur from this weekend till the end of semester. What follows is a post from one of my lecturers.

There will be a series of network outages across campus commencing on Sunday 29 October until 12 November due to the implementation of IT security equipment. It is not clear what these outages will result in, but it definently has the potential to mess things up.

K, so I chnaged it a bit so you couldnt know what class it was, but all the relevant bits are there.

thanks, it's going to suck if it does the same things as last time - i wanted to get my last 2 assignments done without the hassel of the sites being down!

edit: to complain about the crapness of the mq site. i currently: can't get my next assingment, can't contact the lecturer because her email is down, can't access the web version of the current assignment i am doing.

The Macquarie computer services downtime (including WebCT and iLecture) scheduled for Sunday, November 19 has been cancelled and will be moved to a date after the 2006 Semester 2 exam period.We will be sending a reminder notice once details of the re-scheduled downtime have been finalised.
