Why the hell don't we have stuvac period (ie a study week before final exams) when most units have it?!!!? Also why the hell do we finish so late when unis such as UNSW finish like 3-4 weeks earlier than us  |

Today, 2:22 PM | Re: Why don't we have stuvac period We decidedly have. From the 13th week 2 18/11 (and many subjects won't have exams until 20th) is a week, is it not? All Unis in Sydney have 13 week to study in 1 semester I assume? Start early, finish first. What the hell 's ur idea about this? |

we get 2 weeks in mid semester, others get one (+1 week longer to us) we get about 1-2 weeks extra mid year than other unis (+1-2 weeks longer to us) which means we finish 2-3 weeks after other unis We dont get Stuvac because we get the 2 weeks instead.... But as has been pointed out - we basically get a week between end of lectures and start of exams anyway | |

I would probably rather we only had one week mid-semester break and have stuvac, but I did get a lot of research for my assignments in the fortnight break, so it works both ways. Two exams to go ever now!! |
