Can I ask a question?

I should be looking at My Allocations for my timetable right?

Coz my allocations are all right, but for some strange reason my preferences have me on morning classes (which I really really don't want), and a Thursday journo class (I picked Friday). It's causing me some major wtfage.

If my allocations are correct:

Monday - Colonialism&Modernity: Lecture @ 1, Tute @ 2, activity 12.
Tuesday - Contemporary Cultures2: Lecture @ 12:30, Tute @ 2, activity 11.
Wednesday - Media In Society: Lecture @ 1, Tute @ 2, activity 13.
Friday - Journalism2: Seminar @ 9, activity 4.

If you want to change a class around, go to the options on the side where it lists your subjects. Then click on the appropriate subject and you will see some grey boxes with the various timeslots listed. Those that are faded out are currently full, however you may be able to tick some of the boxes. If any of those tickable boxes is in a timeslot you prefer than tick and press 'Submit Request' and bob's your uncle.

If you can't access a timeslot you desperately need from My Student Activities, then go to the faculty admin and fill out a timetable change request detailing you're reasoning. If you have work/medical/childcare/other academic obligations then its basically instant approval for the change (from my limited experience).

So your allocations are it, eh? I ticked the boxes a few times but my preferences stay the same for some reason. I think they were the ones I put in wayyyyy back in the year when I was on crack :D.

Just a question.

I just logged onto UTS Online and 3 of my subjects are not there, but one of them is (MDC).

Does that mean that i failed it?:(

I hope not.:(

Your subjects from last semester on UTSOnline will automatically de-enrol sometime this week (unless it's not automatic) and your new subjects should be up sometime this week. EVen if you passed or failed, the same thing would happen, so don't worry.

The thing is, I went to the MDC page, and it has files such as the 2006 Spring Semester outline, updated program, homework solutions for spring 2006 etc.

I thought I had failed it since the others weren't there.

Do you have subjects from last semester still on UTS online?

class till 9pm on a friday...unlucky.
yeah it's pretty bad but i couldn't escape that no matter what i did because they only offered that ONE SINGLE time for that subject because i'm doing my subjects out of usual order (i think)

but 2 days a week, i can't complain.
