Question Does anyone know what this technique is??? ... If it even is a technique lol

Hey, so a friend of mine is wondering what is the technique called when the title of a text is the protagonist's name. For example, Billy Elliot. Thankyou!

Um I don't know if it's a technique but I think the word for it is Titular? Like Hamlet is a titular character of the play?

    Hamlet is the eponymous protagonist.

    Hamlet is an eponym.
