Problems logging into resources

Hey,
I'm having trouble trying to access the resources. This is what has happened:
1. I go to Bored of Studies Main Page
2. On the side is the Login thingo
3. I do exactly that...it tells me it's redirecting me....
4. I automatically go back to homepage- it doesn't say I have logged in at all
5. I check up the resources...
6. Can see the tantalizing resources in front of me.
7. I click on it and it tells me "You have not logged in...."
8. I login from there and try toaccess resources to no avail.
Just steps 6-8 repeat over and over again. What is happening? This is starting to suck....
In fustration, I close my internet browser (after I've logged off) and open it all over again....Strange, I've logged out *already* but lo behold, my name is under 'Current active user' in the forum index even though I've logged out already.
Somebody help me?....The last username I used I had to neglect as the same thing happened and now I don't wanna register all over again....

Oh, I didn't check the 'Remember Box' but do I *have* to? I never used to check it anyway... Thanks for the advice though. I'm just wasting time here before I try the Resources again. =)

I still can't access Resources....Why me? (Really cliched)
I don't know what to do know more. I'm exhausted from chucking any more tantrums...

yeah this happenned to me a while ago. It gets SO frustrating.

And now its happenning to me again!!! grrrrrr

hmm.. if you log into the forum, then the main page should know that you have logged in and you shouldn't need to.

not quite sure why its not working for you. sorry,

Same here. I use both Firefox & IE (no discernible difference, so I don't think its browser-related).

I think that since the Community Forums and the parent site are technically two seperate sites, 'remembering' across the two is possibly the problem- or so I assume without any technical backing whatsoever.

clear all cookies.. then go to the forum and log into the forum. then go to the homepage and it should show you already logged in.

and yes the home page (www.) and forum (community.) are on different servers.

Exactly the same thing happened to me! Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

This only works if you are logged in. You only have 30 seconds to copy the link otherwise it goes to the "need to login" page and you cant go back.

same thing is happening for me, cept i cant get onto the main page. i type in the url and it tells me the page wont display...

Oh the sammmmee thing happens to me too!! I've been logging in and out from the resources page thingy like all afternoon but i still havnt figured out how to log into the resources page. It worked for me the first time, but the second and third and fourth and umptieth time it didnt work. I've practically wasted like all my internet downloads on this website (trying to figure out how to go to the resources page).

well, its good that you guys are going through the same thing as me. :P
