Hai guys would just like to clarify here, this is what Ive always thought was the case however some people are telling me I am wrong, isnt it so that the GREEN BARS you have are a representation of CUMULATIVE positive rep you've received, while REP POWER is current amount of reputation? that is, if you're negged massively from 500 rep points you'll have the many green bars indicating "this person has acquired at least 500 rep over their BoS lifetime" but rep power will go down severely?

Rep bars are based on how much you've been repped. If you are pos repped, it'll go up. If negged, it'll go down until red, and then increase in red.

Rep power is based on how much you've been repped, how long you've been around, how many posts you've got. All to varying degrees of effect.
