Just wondering, what is textual integrity? I'm asking this in regards to Module B, and I'm studying Citizen Kane.

Thanks!

EDIT: Forget about it.. did a search and found what I was looking for.. should do that more often :D

"The unity of a text; its coherent use of form and language to produce an integrated whole in terms of meaning and value."

That's the BoS definition.

everything needs to be linked together for good textual integrity of a novel. I am doing In the skin of a lion and textual integrity is essential for it! If you happen to be doing it also, let me know
Cheers
That's good as well.

Hope that helps.

I'm studying King Lear, and in terms of different readings I think to say the play has textual integrity means that it won't lend itself to every fanatical reading. You can go through and pick out certain speeches say that suppport a marxist or feminist view, but you couldn't make a reading say that supported murder because King LEar has textual integrity!
