Hey Everyone, First time here so tell me if i posted this in the wrong section ><

Im about to write a essay this week on Rush Hour (Jackie C & Chris T)
The Actual Question is:

Rush Hour is a film that is both of the comedy genre and of the action-adventure genre

Discuss how Ratner combines these two genres by effectively selecting two scenes and analysing how he uses film techniques to convey his ideas.

-Yeah I dont particulary understand the question at all, as I dont understand how film techniques can be used in relation to comedy and action/adventure apart from exaggeration.

-Yup and i know its not exactly a great film to do, psycho was the other choice and our class runs on a democracy where the idiots outnumber the learners

-Any tips highly appreciated!! :p

well . . . BASICALLY you're looking to discuss the two genres..

for example: you talk about one scene, and mention where the comedy aspects come in and where the action/adventure aspects come in, and then you also discuss the way techniques are used to communicate specific ideas to the audience.

everything is there for a reason in a film!

i suppose im a bit late, you're english assessment was yesterday <>
