according to a few friends who work at K-Mart and Big W - Blade Runner (Directors Cut) on DVD can be picked up for <$20

I got myself a copy

Yeah - the DVD makes the movie look about 100x better than the VHS

My teacher kept saying that it was part of the "film noir" that the movie looked so dark and crappy. but on the DVD it actually LOOKS good - i was shocked.

I think i bought it for about $25 at the beginning of the year.

yeah i got that any my DVD player had a huge cry at it. It would stutter at almost every scene. the dvd was spotless btw.

Oh well at least i managed to make it region-free
