30 Jul 2009, 12:31 AM ![]() | Need a VCE tutor - Click to find out more You can hide this advertisement by registering. Hi, My names Edward and I recently completed year 12, becoming the dux at my school with an ENTER score of 99.05. Unlike many of my fellow peers on this site, I obtained this score from an average performing school (median score of 28, 4% of scores above 40). I'm a first year Engineering/Science student at the University of Melbourne, and am offering tutoring for VCE students (both year 11 and year 12) in the following subjects:- Maths Methods (units 1-4) - Specialist Maths - Chemistry (units 1-4) - Physics (units 1-4) My study scores for each relevant subject are as follows. Methods: 45 Specialist: 41 Chemistry: 41 Physics: 43 Also to note, I obtained 41 for English, and in 2005, obtained 44 for Further Maths, and 45 for Religion and Society. For every subject completed, my study scores were the highest in my school for the appropriate year with the exception of English, where my score was equal second. I have plenty of resources for the relevant subjects in the form of sample exams, formula sheets and notes/handouts. I am very familiar with the syllabuses of each subject. Tutoring will be done either at my place (about 15 ks West of Melbourne), or at the State Library if its more convenient. I will be charging no more than $20/hour for my services (still yet to finalise my fees). If you are interested in being tutored, add me to your MSN (edr_2k5@hotmail.com), or alternatively email me at the address.

| Assistant Member | Re: Need a VCE tutor - Click to find out more Having received assistance from Edward numerous times during my final year of high school, I highly recommed him as a tutor. He's a very intelligent and hard working student who has an in-depth understanding of all his subjects. He's very patient, has great communication skills and can usually explain concepts much better than the teacher. Definitely value for money. |
