| Banned | Experienced VCE tutor: targets conceptual errors, hates rote-learning! You can hide this advertisement by registering. My core belief in teaching is to make sure the student understands the concepts correctly. This cannot always be achieved in classroom situations, so as a personal tutor I will attempt to correct this by responding to flaws in thinking, identifying the misconception and then fixing the idea. I am not a believer in rote-learning: I will teach in a manner that draws in all of the topics to a neat close for a concise, yet potent understanding of the subject.I charge $25/hr and operate at the State Library. I also tutor small groups at a negotiable (lower) rate per person. I tutor the following VCE subjects: * Chemistry (Units 1-4) * Maths Methods (Units 1-4) * Specialist Maths (Units 3&4) * Physics (Units 3&4) * Further Maths (Units 3&4) * Economics (Units 3&4) Qualifications I graduated in 2006 at Melbourne High School with an ENTER of 99.00 with the following raw scores: Specialist Maths: 45 Maths Methods: 49 Chemistry: 45 Physics: 45 I have achieved a H1 standard in first year university chemistry, economics and maths (marks to be posted after December 7). I have 1 year of experience in tutoring (2007). PM me, or email/add me on MSN, for more information. |
