i went last year for methods half year and chem for a whole year (decided against doing both of those subjects in year 12 not because of ~bad tutoring~ but because of my lazyness) the inside of the burke street building is good, and the classrooms are quite clean. they use overhead projectors when going through notes.  i'll be doing their master class for english this year. starts next week!  | |

OR private tutor? i was thinking of doing spesh winter school ? if anyone did summer school, was it worth it? and are the classes big so you dont get as much one on one help? oh and lastly how much is it cos they dont post the prices on the site  thanks |

A friend of mine went to a small Biol revision lecture by a teacher who is ex TSFX and she said she was wonderful. Great notes, really thorough, a bit cheaper. I think I am going to give her sessions a go next year. Enhance Education was the name. |

If ur doing Physics...i reckon u should go to listen to Geoff Davies' lectures I think he is the best physics teacher!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For Spesh I had two teachers during revision lectures....didnt enjoy it... I thought it was a waste of money.... Go Physics!!!! Not Spesh

Also, Dr. Greg Wilmoth is a top Physics teacher as well. Knows his material and can really communicate and connect with the students. I, especially love the way he communicates, he shows a lot of enthusiasm and it's impossible to fall asleep while he's teaching. The exam tips that TSFX gives you is unparalled because a lot of the teachers at TSFX are examiners and/or extremely experienced VCE teachers. I've been to TSFX's Master Classes this year and did Methods and Physics and enjoyed it very much. I was able to make friends and for some of them, TSFX served as excellent revision, while others learnt the material from TSFX for the first time and then their usual day-school lessons as revision. Either way, it's beneficial for your studies. |

What does everyone think about this program, I havent done any tsfx programs before. I would be travelling like 3 hours to get there as well.

I went to TSFX this year for biology and had veronica parsons who is brilliant. 2 girls from my school went there last year and both got 50 and said it was all because of her so I decided to give it a go. Honestly all the teachers there are good-they advertise the best teachers from the best schools. Veronica is so awesome. Everything on the exam she had gone through with us and I can't imagine doing anywhere near as well as i did without her. I think she teaches at St Leonards as well |

Hi everyone, I know this isn't really relevant to this discussion, but does anyone know how I can get a refund from tsfx or if they offer any at all? I signed up for the extension program, but my family can't afford it at the moment. The program is not until ages and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas what I can do to try and withdraw myself from that class. I've already paid a few days ago. Thank you |

OR private tutor? hey im doing the master classes you would probably realise by now that it is not as scummy as the person above put it it is actually prfessional and their staff are great! always helping how are you finding them are you going to do the whole year or just half a year |
