Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to read this. I was in your position last year, and that puts me in a great position to help you this year. I got 49 for english, 49 in mark up for spesh and got into medicine at monash. I got 99.5. . I charge 35 dollars an hour for one person. And 20 dollars an hour for 2 people. 15 an hour for 3 people. 10 an hour for 4 or more...I will definately travel to you as long as you live in a relatively reasonable location, but it costs you 5 dollars so i can pay for the met cards. I will happily tutor different subjects during that hour.I prefer tutoring english, spesh and chem. I got perfect scores on the language analysis section of last years english exam, however i think i am best at explaing texts. I studied Richard 111 whose's reality? and lake of the woods. However, if you would like me to tutor you in another text i haven't studied i will certainly read it for you in my spare time and free of charge, and then tutor you in that.

I live in clayton, and can tutor anyone living close to that area, but i travel everyday into the city, and i already tutor in south yarra, toorak malvern, and armadale. I will happily come to any of those places. Or i can meet up with you in the city.

So my subjects were english, spesh maths, methods, chem, german and music. I tutor in all of them. I won the german prize at school and a music prize.I did methods 3/4 in year eleven and tutored that during year 12. So this is my second year of methods tutoring.

I know that alot of people are hesistant about choosing a tutor becuase they're not sure whether they are right for them. I think i have a talent for clarity and i find it easy, and even enjoy, explaing things. I have never had a student leave me. However, if you are not one hundred percent satisfied, you are under absolutely no obligation to stay.

I am just a normal person, i was vice captain of music and my house, and i played sport-3rds cricket and 2nds basketball-all through year 12. I tutor people who want to do really well.I get so much satisfacation out of explaining something to someone when they didn't understand it before. If you feel you are in that position, i am the tutor for you. What i can show you, is how to balance your time, and make the most of your time, as i did.

There are two things i do that other tutors don't. I will supply hand made lecture notes for you, that i make in my own time for every individual tute and free of charge. Then, i also correct all essays in my own time, and free of charge.

So, just to give you a taste of what your in for, these are some of the things i constantly tell people. English: english is made of two things, good idea's and good writing. You need both for a good score. Good idea's are the easy part. That comes down to how much time you have to analyse the texts and read other peoples essays. Good writing on the other hand, is much harder. Start by making a vocab list, and its just as important to have small words as big words. The aim of your writing is never, ever, to sound smart. The aim of your writing is to convey the point you are trying to make. Do this, and subsequently the examiners will be impressed. So that's english.

Spesh, Spesh is about three things. The first two are obvious, not making mistakes and learning formula's and exact values. However, the single most important thing in spesh that catches every person out is application. When and where do you use something? What do you do when you are confronted with a question which you have never seen before? That is what i teach people in spesh.

Chem, chem is essentially maths and humanities combined. You have both stoichiometry which is maths, and then analytical questions that require written answers. I believe that your marks in chem are exactly proportional to how much time you put in. So how can i help you with that you ask? Well i can show you the most relevant and appropriate questions, discriminating questions, and even provide you with 300 additional questions if you feel the need arises.

Methods is a great subject if you are more inclinded for other area's, but i have tutored this subject for two years now. And the biggest stumbling point for many people is modulus. I can show you a very simple trick that you will remember for the entire year.

German, is all about the amount of work you put in, in terms of both speaking and writing. I will correct your essays and speak with you.

Feel free to drop me an email at rjmil7@student.monash.edu.au, i will respond by the next day, and we can start tutoring immediately.
